As spring continues (wow! we have a real spring!) in Austin, we are enjoying all the goodness of early harvests as well as anticipating what’s to come! Can’t wait for peach season! Meanwhile, we will continue to devour these tasty local strawberries creating all sorts of yummy flavors. This week look for pistachio & strawberry, a favorite!

We have also started making raspberry friands. If you haven’t tried these moist little cakes yet, don’t miss out! Scrumptious!

Alex is a part of the stellar team at Elizabeth St Cafe, as well as Perla, Lambert’s & Jeffrey’s.

We are thrilled to have added a vegetarian savory croissant to the case: mushroom & gruyere. In addition, we have re-introduced the brioche both a sausage & herb as well as a sweet version — the pastry is delightfully light and airy with gorgeous flavor.

Of course we still have the favorites; the almond croissant takes a new direction with a lovely almond frangipani filling.

And macarons, our-in house bakers never stop on these amazing morsels–you know they are not going away. Enjoy!

Our macaron seasonal flavor this week is going to be Cherry Limeade. The all-American flavor goes a little French.

Before they disappear into the mouths of new fans (and our staff) come grab some Bananas Foster. And just for grins we took on Orange Creamsicle.

We also have the amazing summery delight: Texas peach soda.  Mixed to order from a yummy local peach syrup and Tope Chico.  It will make you smile.

Finally, in case you haven’t seen all our jubilant Facebook posts, Dai Due’s Pimento Cheese is back. We will be featuring it every week on our vegetarian sandwiches (check Facebook or give us a call to see if it’s available that day) . This is the mother of Pimento cheeses — Sweet Ringo Peppers (JBG) and Stryck cheddar and pepper jack, bound with homemade olive oil mayonnaise and spices. Heaven sent.
